Hi everyone.  I hope all of you had a wonderful New Year!  I know I had a blast in CABO!!!!!  I noticed in your comments that a lot of you guessed right after seeing my two hints ~ well done!

Anyway, my new house was featured in this week's InTouch Magazine so I wanted to share the scans of the article with you guys.  Notice all the chandeliers ~ I told you they were my new thing!

So it's the morning of New Year's Eve and I thought this would be the perfect time to go over some of my resolutions for the upcoming year.

Usually I am not very good at keeping my resolutions, but this year I am going to try my hardest to stick to them.   This past year has been so hectic, and if 2009 proves to be anything like to 2008, I'm going to have to put forth even more of an effort to keep these!  My resolutions are the following...

1. Be more punctual.
2. Make more time for myself.
3. Read at least one new book a month.
4. Learn a foreign language (I hear the best way to do so is by submerging yourself entirely and definitely getting Rosetta Stone! haha).

Last but certainly not least, my fifth and most important resolution is to visit three of the seven continents and contribute in a charitable way. I've been doing a lot of charity this holiday season and seeing children smile is addictive. : )

Instead of doing the usual club/vegas/party scene for New Year's, I am jetting off on a secret getaway with a few close friends this year.

I'm going to be sending pictures and clues from my camera phone of different sites and you guys can try and guess where I am!

So as you all know, I just bought my very first house!  I love it so much and have been spending every bit of my free time finding special pieces to decorate with.  Here is one of my favorites ~ the chandelier I hung in my bedroom!  It is very girly, yet romantic.  It is the focal point of my entire room and it really ties everything together.

What are some pieces you have decorated with that just pull your whole house/room together?

There's nothing better than waking up with your family on Christmas morning!  It reminds me of how fortunate I am to have such an incredible support system and I am truly grateful for them. 

I hope all of you have a wonderful and relaxing Christmas Day surrounded by your friends and your family!

So here is a picture of one of my closets ~ I know it looks like a complete train wreck but I tore it apart for a good cause haha.  I actually went through all of my closets and gathered tons of clothes, shoes, hats, scarves etc. and gave all of it to charity.  I really hope that they make someone's christmas =)!
